Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine met with the Canadian delegation and representatives of the Democratic Initiatives Foundation

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine held a meeting with the Canadian delegation and representatives of the Democratic Initiatives Foundation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of the sociological survey conducted by the Democratic Initiatives Foundation with the support of the Government of Canada.

Representatives of the Foundation raised urgent issues that concern citizens of Donetsk and Luhansk regions controlled by Ukraine. They relate to the prospects for the region's development: the restoration of infrastructure, the creation of jobs and the provision of social guarantees by the state.

Oleksandr Danyliuk stated that the comprehensive development of the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the control of Ukraine will demonstrate the direction of the state policy towards welfare of citizens.

The elaboration of proposals for this plan is a crucial task for the NSDC, which is currently being developed.

Boris Vzhesnevsky, deputy of the Canadian Parliament, testified to Canada's readiness to provide Ukraine with the necessary assistance.
