M. Zolkina: Politically, Russia is no longer untouchable for either Ukraine or its Western partners
The offensive operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region has both geopolitical and some military implications for the course of the Russian-Ukrainian war. This was stated by Maria Zolkina, Head of the Regional Security and Conflict Studies Department at the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation and a researcher at the London School of Economics, in an interview with the Australian news channel American Broadcasting Company (ABC).
According to her, this offensive actually undermines the myth that Ukraine cannot asymmetrically influence Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
