The public opinion on NATO and its regional differences in Ukraine

“What Ukrainians think and know about NATO?” was the headline of the press-conference held by the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation in Kyiv on Tuesday.

 

 

The press conference focused on public opinion on NATO and its regional differences in Ukraine.

Taking part were Barbora Maronkova, director of the NATO Information and Documentation Centre, Serhiy Verbytskyi, chief of the department of defense and military cooperation with NATO at the Government Office for European and Euro-Atlantic integration, MP Hanna Hopko, Ruslan Kermach, the analyst of DIF and Serhiy Dzherdzh, head of the Ukraine-NATO Civic League.

Ruslan Kermach, the political analyst of DIF, commented for Ukrainian Radio the dynamics of NATO support in the regions of Ukraine as well as the possible results of the hypothetic referendum in Ukraine on joining the North Atlantic Alliance.
