Ukraine faces funding uncertainty amid US political divisions, Israel-Hamas war

As Ukraine enters its third year of war against Russia, there are concerns that funding could become harder to come by amid political divisions in the US Congress and the escalating Israel-Hamas conflict. Ukraine's defence ministry is spending about $100 million a day. NATO officials have warned that the West is running out of ammunition to give. So far, the US has given Ukraine almost $47 billion in military aid. But in September, the US Congress excluded funding for Ukraine in its spending bill to avoid a government shutdown. Petro Burkovskiy, Executive Director of the Democratic Initiatives Foundation,  commented on the situation for Channel NewsAsia.
