Olexiy Haran participated in Ukrainian Week in London

The British Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (BUCC) was holding Ukrainian Week in London (“Ukrainian Week”) on October 8-14 2018, organized with the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE), the National Investment Council of Ukraine, the Atlantic Council (U.S.), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) and other leading U.K. and Ukrainian institutions.

It consisted of seven days of events addressing Security Issues, Trade and Business, including covering Agriculture, Finance and Investment, Tourism, and IT and Technological Innovation, as well as Arts, Design and Fashion, with an emphasis on how Ukraine can build partnerships with Britain and British firms in all of these sectors.

Day 1, on October 8, at the Royal United Services Institute (“RUSI”) focused on strategic challenges, threats, and opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and the U.K. and was organized with the Atlantic Council and RUSI.

Olexiy Haran participated as a speaker on the section on “Ukraine’s Rebirth in the Face of Putin’s Aggression” of the Security Conference.

Olexiy Haran also made a study trip to Belfast learn more about the history of the crisis in Northern Ireland, peace process and present day situation.
