Oleksii Sydorchuk: Ukrainian government should explain to its citizens what decentralization will mean in practice

While Ukrainian citizens generally support decentralization reform, they are very cautious about some of its practical aspects, said Oleksii Sydorchuk, analyst of the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initaitives Foundation in the program "Up-to-Date" on UTR channel. Moreover, they still do not have clear vision of how decentralization will work. Ukrainian government should fill this gap by embracing on nation-wide informational campaign on main features of decentralization, as well as its potential benefits and drawbacks, said Oleksii Sydorchuk.
